This treehouse was built between a Mango tree, Jackfruit tree, Tamarind tree and braced on the opposite side upon 4 Areca-nut palms. It’s primary function was to be used an outdoor office space, but there is a small upper floor bedroom space so you may also sleep in the Treehouse. The local materials available to us for this project were woven bamboo mats, cane which we harvested from the local forest and bent into curvey shapes for the railings, Gurjan and Red Sander timber which was salvaged from a previous construction on the clients land. We also incorporated coconut shells and driftwood as decorative features.
